They are only a five minute walk from the famous Bridge Street, which is bustling with patrons visiting the many independent & well recognised shops & stores. Cafe culture, night life & beautiful surrounding countryside; Congleton really does have it all!
The Apartments sleep up to four people each, with a cosy couple in the Master & two guests using the stylish sofa beds in the gorgeous open plan kitchen living space. Antobus delux apartments Congleton don't stay here
This was a surprise weekend away booked my partner through booking.control 12th April for 2 nights.We arrived the keys were in a lock safe, we collected them,dropped bags off and went to visit relatives,there's no parking, the car park is maximum 3 hour stay, on street parking is a problem. We came back 5 30 ish, when we unlocked front door there was a tile missing floor was dirty, going into the hall we tried to close door no latch we had no option we had to use key to lock the door,the Yale lock had been broken parts of this were still on door,there is no quick release to get out in case of fire. There were black marks on door and walls, Stair carpet was dirty and stained. Went into delux apartment,decided to make a cup of tea before going out for a meal,table and bar area had place settings on no cups, found cups in cupboard, these had brown ring marks in them, turned tap on to wash them musty smell from drain.looked at oven which was yellow stained glass with food debris in oven. Bin pedal broken lifted lid this was rusty. On sofa there was a pile of bedding not in a protective bag, we placed this on dusty coffee table, large stain on sofa, turned tv on, couldn't see tv with bedding on table moved it onto stools in kitchen, noticed hand marks all over window, tv picture broken up unable to watch, no cover over batteries on tv remote. We then went into bedroom thought there were no pillows looked like just slips, pillows deflated flat. Pulled sheets back black marks on sheet, we then pulled bottom sheet back large urine stain also fecal matter over mattress didn't know if this was human or bed bugs, also red marks at bottom of mattress. Opened a door thinking it was ensuite it was a cupboard with dirty washing, Hoover and other things.Opened another door, ensuite, paint peeling off door frame.neither kitchen nor bedroom windows opened or closed very easy. Wire and plastic coat hangers on a rail in bedroom.Rang a number on paper no answer, left a message saying we couldn't stop there, a lady rang back after about 10 mins, she said she only had 1 other flat, there was a guest in it leaving in the morning we could have that, I asked what we should to tonight, sit in car, she replied yes, she couldn't do anything without seeing pictures, she then hung up. We then rang booking.com who this had been booked through, I explained how dirty it was and we couldn't stay there,the man told me he would put me through to a supervisor,after holding on for 10 mins I was cut off. I rang again explained it all to another person, they couldn't contact your stays, said they couldn't do anything, this was now 8 45, we hadn't eaten since breakfast because we were going out for a nice meal. This agent said she couldn't book us in anywhere else, at 9 pm we shared a bag of chips in car and drove nearly 100 miles back home,parts of the motorway were closed for the night with diversions, it was nearly midnight by we got home. On 16th April a manager from your stays rang and asked if we had written a review ,saying he will get back to us, not heard from them since.On 4th May I rang booking .com to ask about my full refund,they couldn't help, told us they would ring your stays. On 7th May had email saying your stays would offer compensation of( the sun was what we paid to stay there) no apology from them. We didn't know This reservation was through another company, we thought we would have help from booking.com This is not a Delux apartment.
