Close to Langley Castle, Hadrian's Wall and only 10 minutes drive from the historic market town of Hexham, it is also within easy driving distance of Newcastle upon Tyne, Carlisle, Northumberland National Park, Kielder Water and Forest Park and the picturesque North Pennines and Allen Valley. Haydon Bridge is a pretty village on the River Tyne, situated almost exactly halfway between Newcastle upon Tyne and Carlisle. It has good local amenities including a Co-op, Post Office, newsagent, pharmacy, pub/restaurant, Indian takeaway, fish and chip shop, 3 pubs and an excellent local butcher.

Haydon Bridge offers some of the best Salmon fishing in England and Wales and the surrounding hills and fields contain numerous beautiful walking and cycling routes, right from the doorstep.
