Delightful Georgian and part Victorian stone and brick built property overlooking the picturesque town. Sleeps six in three bedrooms, one double and two twins.
Renovated to a high standard with two modern bathrooms and full central heating while retaining the exposed beams, large inglenook fireplace and large wood burner in the living room. Hill views from all bedrooms. South facing rear garden with stunning views. A beautiful cottage and area in which to switch off and unwind, whatever the time of year.

Lovely dog friendly cottage in delightful small market town
This was a lovely cottage, perfect for the dog (country walks almost from door) and family (pubs, shops, takeaways all within 5 minutes walk). The cottage has everything you need, spotless, well furnished and well equipped. The bedrooms were very comfortable. The small (safe and enclosed) garden was a real sun trap with beautiful views. Quite steep steps inside and out, and no parking directly outside, so may not be suitable for very infirm guests. Having said that, parking was no problem for us, plenty of safe off street parking nearby. Wifi and TV reception excellent (important for teenagers!) which is not always the case in rural cottages. Bishops Castle is a great little town, with quirky shops, excellent pubs, 3 takeaways and 2 small supermarkets open 7-10 7 days a week. The walks from the town were fantastic, you could spend all week just doing that, but if you do want to get out and about there are plenty of excellent day trips to mid Wales or Shropshire within easy reach, as well as great towns like Ludlow. The owners were great with communication and arrangements (although we never met them, collected keys locally) sorting out the one small issue we had straight away without fuss. The Home made marmalade was a thoughtful touch (and delicious). Highly recommend and would love to return one day :-)

Lovely cottage, great location
A lovely, well equipped cottage in a great location, couple of minutes walk to village centre, some great pubs and good food to be had. The walking in the area is superb , fabulous countryside.
Communication from the owner was excellent, we had a great week. Many thanks.
