The island of Kolocep can be reached by regular 'Jadrolinija' ferry service by a ship named 'Postira'. The boat stops at a pier 100 m from the Sea Dream Kolocep Villa.The boat sails four times a day. We offer also transfer with private boat. Price in one direction during the day (07 00-22 00) is 45 euros and 70 euros during the night (22 00-07 00).

Fantastic apartment on a fantastic island and a perfect host
We stayed during early August in the appartment for a week, my wife and I and 2 children aged 11 and 16. We could not fault any aspect of the accomodation on the charming island, its so lovely and quiet. We were glad we had booked to stay in Gonje Celo, the smaller (and much quieter) of the 2 villages on Kolocep, the stroll between the two was lovely. The small harbour side restaurant which is just a 4 minute walk from the appartment is charming, the food is great and not at all expensive. We had a choice of swimming spots close to the appartment, either a rocky bay with diving and snorkelling 5 minutes one way or a sandy beach (which would have been ideal even for non swimmers) next to the harbour 3 minutes down the hill.
The family who own the apartment are very friendly and nothing was too much trouble, we loved our time there and would recommend it to anyone 100% we have suggested it to several friends as a perfect base for a quiet holiday whilst being close to the mainland for serious sightseeing in Dubrovnik. (the ferry is a 15 minute stroll to Donje Celo then 20 minutes on the boat into Dubrovnik. (or you can get a private boat)

A perfect retreat with generous local hospitality
Upon arriving on the ferry from Dubrovnik our host greeted us at the harbor. We were taken to the apartment via golf buggy and enjoyed a great lunch of fish soup followed by pasta with beef escallops - the first of several delicious meals we shared with the host and family. Fresh fruit was delivered to our door in the mornings, and home made jam, it was great.
The apartment was better than the description and the photos simply hint at the wonderful setting and amazing sea views stretching over towards Dubrovnik.
I'd recommend this apartment and would certainly stay there in again.
The island itself is a perfect get-away, the water is great for swimming and kayaking and close to Dubrovnik.

Island Koločep is amazing,other elaphite Islands Lopud and Šipan also,Island Mljet is also amazing,Korčula Hvar also.All of this Islands you can visit with a ferrys and Speed Katamarans.,You can visit also old city from roman empire Split 220 km distanced,Salona Trogir on west,Holy Međugorje on Nw,old city of,Mostar 150kn N sarajevo 250 km N,on eEastbeautiful mountines in Montenegro and finally DUBROVNIK MY HOMETOWN,PEARL OF ADRIATIC, SEAWELL KNOWN IN WORLD FOR DIPLOMACY .IT HAS IN EARLY MIDDLE AGES IT OWN REPUBLIC WHICH OPEN FIRST CONSULAR OFFICE IN THE WORLD IN SYRACUSA ITALY IN 1372,SECOND AMBASSY IN WORLD IN LISABON PORTUGAL,FIRST COUNTRY WHICH CONFIRM AMERICAN CONFEDERATION,IT HAS ITS OWN NAVY,PAY FOR FREEDOM IN GOLD TO TURKISH EMPIRE

.The Island of Kolocep is seven km NW from city of Dubrovnik.You can hire taxi from the airport(twenty km from Dubrovnik). There are two villages on the Island-Gornje and Donje Celo.The Island of Kolocep is connected with Dubrovnik by regular ship line but ship touches Donje Celo and Our apartment is in Gornje Celo(twenty minutes walking from our apartment )there is a four times from Dubrovnik and four times toward Dubrovnik.Ship name is Postira goes from main pier at Port of Dubrovnik(named Gruž).Winter schedule is at ten,forteeen,sixteen thirty and twenty hours in the evening from Dubrovnik and at six fourty,twelwe thirtyfive,fifteen thirtyfive and eighteen twenty hours to Dubrovnik from the Island and on Sunday she goes to Dubrovnik at eight and ten, seventeen fourty and from Dubrovnik at nine thirtyand eighteen therty.Summer schedule is only different that last ship goes to Dubrovnik at nineteen and ten and come back also at twenty hours in the evening,and on Sunday ship goes four times also at eight and ten,ten fourtyfive, seventeen thirtyand nineteen to Dubrovnik and nine thirty,eleven thirty,eighteen fiftheen and twenty thirty from Dubrovnik.Season winter started from last weekend in October and to last weekend in March.If you would like to have a transport at any time you need from Dubrovnik to Gornje Celo where our apartment is situated,we offer you a private ship at cost price of fourtyfive euros per transfer during the day(seven till twentytwo hours) and seventy euros per direction during the night(twentytwo till seven in the morning),cheaper than concurence taxi boats
