Holiday Rental House
Our house is registered in the registry of vacation homes of the competent Administration in the field of tourism and therefore has all the guarantees. This beautiful Canarian style house was built around the year 1650. It is located at no. 17 on the road to Portugal, in the town of Taganana, one of the existing towns within the Anaga Natural Park, in Tenerife. The path of Portugal is a usual step for hikers, since some of the most well-known routes for walkers within the territory of Anaga. Placing the words "Taganana" or "Anaga" in the internet search engines, you access websites that offer extensive information about the area, its beaches, its trails, its landscapes and points of interest, its gastronomy, parties, customs, etc. The area is one of the best on the island (if not the best)...Our house is registered in the registry of vacation homes of the competent Administration in the field of tourism and therefore has all the guarantees. The area is one of the best on the island (if not the best) for those who want to go hiking and who enjoy beaches and stunning landscapes, as you can see in the images of the area. The house underwent an integral reform between the years 2,005 and 2,007, being of the old one only the four exterior walls of basaltic stone. It was reformed to be used for recreational housing of its owner, who was the builder who reformed it and the technician who wrote and directed the reform project. Neither when it was built, nor when it was furnished nor when it was equipped was it thought that it would be destined for its rent. Everything was designed and acquired thinking about the tastes and needs of its owner. That is why in the house there are materials, furniture and equipment of a quality hardly appreciated in other homes designed for rent. The walls of the house are made of masonry of concerted and canted basaltic stone, either with a finished finish or plastered and painted; All the existing wood in the house (except the three interior doors of the top floor mounted on partition walls of Pladur) is from Morera (floor, ceilings, right feet, railings, windows and doors) and is finished with matured flaxseed oil. The floor of the ground floor is handmade, handcrafted with natural clay. The fittings, sanitary parts and electrical mechanisms are of the high ranges of each one of their brands, as well as the electrical appliances. The furniture of the house is made of hardwoods. The leather armchairs; the music system is professional, with DENON player for CDs and USB devices and amplifier and Mackie speakers; Television is Sony's SmartTv brand; The tiles are rustic aged brand Borja Centennial model; The roof has thermal insulation; and the two rooms as well as the living room have a radiator. The house has two floors. On the upper floor there are two bedrooms with views and a bathroom. On the ground floor another bathroom, kitchen and dining room for 6 people, the living room, the third bedroom with two single beds of 0.90 x 1.90 meters. and the large terrace with its wonderful views. The beds on the upper floor are 1.40 x 2.00 meters; and it is equipped with all the necessary household and small appliances at a high level. For the terrace there is a table and 6 teak chairs, two hammocks, a large umbrella, a distillery with its traditional furniture and a portable shower to connect to the hose, with shower accessories and water vaporizer. We have wifi connection and reception of international television channels. A Taganana is accessed by means of a safe mountain road and in perfect condition, with many curves, steep slope and spectacular views. Less than 5 minutes walking you will reach the town square where the church is located, a small supermarket and several bars and restaurants where to eat. Very close to that square is the regular bus stop that connects Taganana with the rest of the island. For its orientation, the terraces of the house have full sunlight from early morning hours to more than mid-afternoon.More

About the neighbourhood
The village of Taganana is the main population center within the Rural Park Anaga. Located in the south of this natural area of great value, in the northeast of the island of Tenerife, has not only the charm of the landscape that surrounds it, but the old flavor of the old towns of Tenerife. In fact, it is one of the first settlements founded by the Castilian conquistadors. Taganana highlighted in historical values, backed by two of Cultural Interest: the church of Our Lady of the Snows and the hermitage of Santa Catalina. It is accessed via the north, the forest of Las Mercedes, one of the oldest in Europe or San Andrés, and cross the winding road that descends between ravines. The center of the village is the square of Our Lady of the Snows, quiet space where locals in the shadow of th...
