Dalby Forest (near Pickering) offers an excellent range of outdoor activities including mountain biking, with challenges for even the most experienced riders. York with attractions ranging from the Minster to the National Railway Museum makes an interesting contrast to visit. Cottage spotless and faultless. TeaHee tea shop at Easingwold very good as was March Hare at Ripon. Both well worth a visit. Close to York which is always enjoyable, also Thirsk.
