Holiday Rental House
Riversmeet Cottage is a very tranquil residence with beautiful views of the Tressilian River just a few miles from Truro city centre. It is situated about 20 metres from a classic old Cornish pub The Heron Inn, which caters for lunches and dinner, with the same stunning views. The cottage has recently been refurbished and decorated to a high standard while being sympathetic to its origins. It is equally idyllic in the winters, by being warm and cosy by the wood burner, or a sunny retreat for a seaside holiday. ...Riversmeet Cottage is a very tranquil residence with beautiful views of the Tressilian River just a few miles from Truro city centre. This place is tucked away but within easy reach of Truro, the views are just spectacular. The house is clean and comfortable and is equipped with every thing you would need. The Heron, three doors down from the cottage serves fabulous food.

Thank you Barbara for taking the time to write this lovely review. I'm so glad you had a great holiday and were such appreciative guests. Best wishes, Elaine
I visited with my family in August and have already taken my issues up with the owner of the property. I had to clean the house on arrival which wasn't the best start to our holiday. Unfortunately for us we wouldn't stay here again.

I'm glad we were able to resolve your issues quickly and hopefully reimbursing you for all cleaning costs was helpful. We are glad you enjoyed your stay in Cornwall with your family and lovely doggie.
There is a lock box by the front door for you to get your key. The code is given near the time for your stay but please contact us if you haven’t got it. I live nearby but I wait for you to contact me if you have any questions or requirements to allow you your privacy on holiday.
The village of Malpas is situated along the bank of the Truro River about a mile outside the city. It is here that the rivers Truro and Tresillian converge and the village is still a port with the navigable waterways to Falmouth and the sea. There are popular boat trips between here and Falmouth throughout the summer (at higher tides the boats tend to depart from Truro).
Boscawen park is a 10 minute riverside walk from Riversmeet Cottage. It has many sporting facilities open throughout the year including 8 tennis courts, 3 football pitches and a cricket pitch. There is also a large children's play area with outdoor play equipment including a zip wire, slides, trails, swings, etc. On the other side side of the road is the duck pond with its own trail around it next to Trennick Mill resta...
How to get there
The main road into Truro is the A30. When travelling West to Cornwall on the A30 take the second exit onto the A39 towards Truro,Trispen (about 3 miles before there is a steep descent passing MacDonalds on the opposite carriageway). At the next roundabout take the first exit onto Newquay Road. At the end of the road turn right onto Tregolls Road (downhill). At the roundabout take the second exit onto Malpas road. Scobles terrace is a row of cottages 1.8 miles along the road on the left hand side before the pub.
