The kitchen is well equipped with microwave, fridge/freezer, dishwasher, Senseo coffee machine, halogeen hob with double oven and a lot of little extras like herbs & spices, coffee, tea, nice shortbread, dishwasher tablets and a complementary bottle of wine waiting for you. Upstairs; 2 spacious bedrooms, a King size and a twin which can be made up as another King size if desired. Large bathroom with cast iron bath, separate shower, wash hand basin and WC. Luxury toiletries, hairdryers and fluffy towels are provided. Outside a large waterfront deck to the side of the cottage with seating & chimenea. Plenty off street parking available at the cottage. If you are looking for accommodation for up to 8 people than our neighbouring cottage (id185030) is suitable since it can be connected easily by adjoining hallway for a larger family getaway. Quotes on Trip advisor are from prices and do not always reflect the true rental price. Please note we only cater for children over 8 due to our proximity to water.More

The ownwers had thought of everything - not just towels and bedding, but small things like tissues, tea and coffee and coffee pads for the coffee maker machine, and binoculars in the sun lounge where there are magnificent views ofver the river.

In summer join the Jacobite steam train (the Hogwart Express) from Fort William to Mallaig for the most scenic train ride in Britain A trip to Mull, if you take the car across make sure to head for Glengorm Castle north of Tobermory to have lunch. Getting around
We are 10 minutes away from the busy harbour town of Oban with lots of ferry routes to the Hebrides to chose from for a day's outing. There are various castles in the local area such as Dunstaffnage, Kilchurn and Stalker castle. We are an easy day's drive to Fort William and an outing on the famous Harry Potter train. Glencoe is also nearby, as well as lots of other stunning sightseeing trips. The village of Connel has 3 local hotels for dining out, a well stocked village shop and a regular bus service into Oban.
