The island of Koufonisi is a great place to get away from it all, especially since this villa has it all: a home gym, a sauna, Jacuzzi, steam room, pool and garden, and even a ping pong table! The island is peppered with beaches that can be enjoyed during the day or at night at one of the beachside bars. Of course, you could always opt for the poolside bar at the villa instead, or enjoying an al fresco meal of local fish prepared on the barbeque and fresh produce from the town’s markets and the villa’s garden. This villa is comprised of two independent houses on the same property and is great for a large family or group of friends. About the neighbourhood
This villa is located on the island of Koufonisi, part of a cluster of three small islands in the Cyclades. The villa is close to the beach and to a village where there are shops, markets, and taverns. The eastern side of the island is dotted with small rocky bays and has both pebble and sandy beaches, some with their own taverns and beach bars that operate well into the night on full moons. There are also trails to explore the Cyclades landscape, and you can take an organized excursion to the beaches or the nearby islands. The nearly-uninhabited island of Kato Koufonisi, for instance, has an archeological excavation, pristine beaches, and a tavern famous for its fish soup. Ano Koufonisi has its calendar full for seasonal celebrations: in April, there are festivities to honor Agios Georgi...
