Enjoy a special stay in this historic building in the center of Damme.
The stately building called De Gouden Kop dates back to 1600 and is located on the beautiful market square of the authentic town of Damme. The property has been converted into a comfortable vacation home with great attention to detail. All areas are located on the first floor. Upon entering, the huge and fantastically lit living room immediately catches the eye. In the living room there is a very large and comfortable double bed. The cottage also has a separate bedroom, kitchen, bathroom and two toilets.

Erg teleurstellend en moeilijk te begrijpen dat dit kan!
Mooi ingerichte ruimte op een ideale locatie. Jammer genoeg wordt dit alles overschaduwd door een aantal zaken die echt niet door de beugel kunnen... Bij aankomst geen warm water en het heeft 5 dagen geduurd vooraleer het opgelost werd. Volgens andere huurders in het huis was dit al 2 weken bezig. Uiteindelijk bleek het enkel de boiler te zijn die moest gereset worden... Geen afwasmachine alhoewel dit wel aangekondigd wordt... 3 eetvorken voor een verblijf tot max 6 personen... De gratis wifi is het wifinetwerk van een nabijgelegen restaurant, bijna onmogelijk om ergens wifi bereik te hebben... Geen enkele uitleg over vuilnisophaling... En het ergst van alles: in de woonruimte en vooral in de toiletten hangt een onaangename rioolgeur. Wat blijkt: in het toilet is een venster dat uitgeeft op een kleine binnenkoer die op zich al erg smerig is. Op die koer is een andere deur die een ongebruikt toilet verbergt. De staat waarin dit toilet zich bevindt en de STANK die uit die ruimte komt zijn moeilijk te beschrijven zonder onbeleefd te worden. Onaanvaardbaar!! Onze ergste ervaring na 15 jaar vakantiehuisjes te huren in en rond Brugge.
