Interaction with guests
We are always extremely happy to engage with our guests if they wish it. However, we also respect privacy and make sure we do not invade guests' personal space. There are many things to experience in our Yarra Valley, so we are well prepared with maps and guides to assist in planning any day's activities., along with shopping and dining & wine tasting recommendations.

Map
About the neighbourhood
The Yarra Valley is a region of rolling hills, forests, vineyards and farms, and towns both small and large, all set in the wide valley of the Yarra River that flows down from the Great Dividing Range. From quaint Warburton at its head all the way to the neighbouring Dandenong Ranges, there's a naturalness still to be experienced in a world that is rapidly losing touch with nature. There's great accommodation to be found at every level, and a warm welcome is guaranteed wherever you choose to put your head. We are proud of our region and love to share it with new- and old-comers alike. Come and see it for yourself.
Getting around
If you have your own transport (car) there is no limit to the places you can readily explore. We are well supplied with maps and guides to all attractions. There are also some excellent tour guides who will tailor a day tour to meet your interests, enabling even the shortest amount of time to be fully maximised.

How to get there
Airport: Melbourne : 65.0 km
Railway: Lilydale: 20.0 km
From Yarra Glen follow Melba Highway north for approximately 8 kilometres. Turn right onto Old Toolangi Road, travel one kilometre to a T-junction with Beachs Lane. Turn right and follow Beachs Lane for one kilometre, cross over a small bridge and The Burrow at Wombat Bend is 100 metres past the bridge, on the right. A timber sign on the nature strip and on the gate identifies the property. Open the gates and please drive in. Welcome home.

If you are travelling from Melbourne CBD by car, or from Melbourne Airport, it will take around an hour to Yarra Glen. From there, follow the above directions, a further ten minutes drive to Wombat Bend.
