Fantastic views from this deceptively large 300 year old cottage in Matlock Bath. Local area brilliant for walking in the Peak district or visiting Chatsworth House, Crich tramway museum, Bakewell, Peak railway. Artists Cottage has a wood burning stove in the dining area and also central heating. Small front garden. Matlock Bath has walks along the Derwent cable cars to Heights of Abraham. Good bus and train service. A great base for your self catering holiday with the cottage being equipped with everything you could need to feel right at home....Fantastic views from this deceptively large 300 year old cottage in Matlock Bath. So much to do nearby (Alton Towers less than 40 mins). The cottage was just perfect for our family of 4 (with 2 teenagers) with the most amazing views from the garden that you would never get bored of looking at. 5 stars

Queen Victoria visited Matlock Bath as a young princess in 1831 putting it firmly on the map as a society venue of the time. Today Matlock Bath has many attractions locally, Peak Dstrict Mining museum, Arkwrights mill at Cromford, also the many and varied walks that are available.
