the most relaxing holiday ever!

3 of us stayed in this delightful villa on the outskirts of kayakoy. We could walk to nearby restaurants or pick up service was provided so we rarely bothered to cook dinner apart from a couple of bbq. The villa was peace and tranquility itself...More

Lovely villa

We had a great holiday in this villa. It is in a lovely location in a little hamlet, a very short drive form a beautiful beach and 5 mins walk to the local shop. The villa is nicely done out and well equipped. Lovely pool...More

Excellent Holiday Cottage in Fabulous Location

Lovely "get away from it all" Villa

Nicely presented traditional house. Good accommodation that is lovely & cool due to the massively thick walls. Good sized terrace & lovely pool. Small but adequate kitchen with good range of utensils & the dishwasher which is a real bonus. Lovely & private, only disturbed...More

About the neighbourhood
This is a good way to sample a real Turkish dwelling although modernised to suit Western tastes, but set among other small traditional Turkish homes in Kaya Valley, quite well known for its deserted Greek village featured in Louis deBernierre's book, Birds Without Wings. This small but adorable cottage is in a very tranquil valley but also close to the bustling towns and holiday resorts of Olu Deniz, Hisaronu and of course the big market town of Fethiye. All are a short drive away, as are the more famous archaeological sites from the Byzantine, Lycian and Roman times. A fascinating place to explore.
