Our vacation home is just steps away from one of the most famous stretches of white sand beach in the world, Waikiki Beach. It is situated on the 41st floor of the tallest tower in Waikiki. This physically places it in the upper one percentile of all commercial or residential real estate on the island, and provides breathtaking panoramic: Ocean, Mountain, City and Diamond Head Crater Views. This physically places it in the upper one percentile of all commercial or residential real estate on the island, and provides breathtaking panoramic: Ocean, Mountain, City and Diamond Head Crater Views. THE SPACE The 40sq meter (420sq ft) micro-loft has mid-century 'local' influences with a modern industrial design, comprised of raw materials: concrete ceiling, polished copper piping, stainless steel and ceramic masonry work. Traditional light and dark woods are also incorporated into the motif, integrating natural colors with local flora to retain the true essence of 'ALOHA'. A large portion, 104 sq ft. of the living space, is dedicated solely to the lanai (balcony). This is massive by Waikiki standards where open space, particularly at this height, is at a premium and is more commonly nonexistent. We developed a unique and cozy open air concept. This is where many of our guests prefer sleeping; on the hand crafted over-sized twin, teak Balinese day bed (with trundle bed underneath), rather than sleeping inside. Just to reiterate, there are two single beds located outside on the open air balcony living area. What this does is create a one of a kind experience and instant access the crown jewel of our home, it's view. This simply cannot be conveyed into words, nor fully captured through the lens of a camera. Much as the spirit of 'ALOHA', this view is something that must be felt and experienced in person in order to be given proper justice.... GUEST ACCESS The ground floor has two lobby areas. The outside lobby has a large guest seating area as well as a cafe with a breakfast and lunchtime menu. There are also vending machines in that lobby area. The foyer just outside the elevators also has seating and is where the security station is located. The 6th floor is the common grounds area, and it has a commercial ice machine and a well stocked convenience store. There are several stainless steel gas operated BBQ grills that are available on a first come first serve basis. There is also a meticulously maintained salt water pool with jacuzzi, a fitness center with gym quality equipment and a hot sauna. INTERACTION WITH GUESTS Guests will be met personally and registered with security. They will then be provided with an electronic key FOB necessary to gain access to building and elevators. Updates and suggestions are welcome, as it is my goal to make your stay as pleasurable as possible. Please feel free to contact me via email, text or directly by phone any time. GETTING AROUND When one wants to venture outside of Waikiki. Access to transportation is simple, abundant and convenient. Honolulu boasts one of the most efficient public transit systems in the country. The bus stop is just seconds away on the same block. There is also a Enterprise rental car in the same building. I was told they offer short term hourly rentals for as little as 8 dollars an hour. A taxi port is also located just outside the lobby area. Uber and Lift are very active in the area as well. Waiting times are often less than 3 minutes. OTHER THINGS TO NOTE The grounds and all common areas are recorded and monitored by 24 hour closed circuit surveillance as well as regularly patrolled by security. In Waikiki, a comparable same floor hotel room with less amenities can easily cost twice as much. This makes our home not only unique, but also a one of a kind value. GSA - Per Diem Rate available. Located in the epicenter of Waikiki, Seaside Avenue is the main artery flowing between the makai (ocean) and mauka(mountain) side of Waikiki. The building is approximately a 5 min walk (450 meters) to the nearest beach access where you will experience some of the most pristine waters of all the pacific. On the way to the beach you will cross: the newly remodeled International Market, the famous Royal Hawaiian Shopping Center, as well as the beachfront strip of Kalakaua Avenue. And the newly constructed Ritz Carlton is just three blocks away.
