This is a fully renovated 1920's rail workers cottage (next door to my other property, a similar cottage with an orange door), with a full bathroom, kitchen stocked with dishes, pots and pans, some condiments, and fresh linens and fluffy white towels. There's a private backyard, fenced, with a deck and patio and comfortable seating. Tastefully furnished, there's a bistro table for two inside and a table for four outside. All utilities, cable and wifi included at both properties. Walk to the zoo or downtown. It's about 12 blocks to Old Town.

Interaction with guests:
I greet every guest when they arrive, to give them access, and show them how the various things work, such as the alarm, and the TV. I also offer suggestions for nearby restaurants and shopping. I usually don't see the guests again unless some sort of maintenance is needed at the property. I give guests instructions on how to check out and where to leave the key. I am always available by phone, txt, or email if the guests have a question. I want guests to know I'm available, but I don't hover.
Check-in is by appointment between 3 and 5 pm. There is a $50 fee for late arrivals, after 8 pm. No altering the premises in anyway, no giving out the keys or codes to...

About the neighbourhood
.My cottages are the next street over from the Zoo, and just a few blocks from Downtown with all the restaurants and clubs. Old Town is about 12 blocks away to the west and Nob Hill is a couple of minutes away to the east. It's also near the hospitals and the university with quick access to I-25 and I-40.
To get to the Balloon Fiesta shuttle buses, it's an easy ride down Coal to the east, where the buses pick up passengers at the Coronado Mall parking lot.
A car is a good idea, although the area is very walkable and bikeable. There is a new bus system called ART going in down Central. The cottages are right by Coal and Lead, which parallel Central and get you across town, east/west very quickly.
How to get there

I give specific directions to guests, depending on from where they are driving, or from the airport, which is very close.
