Holiday Rental House
The space This spacious house is a single family home with 8 bedrooms. The front door of the home opens to the very spacious living and dining area. The living room has a 50' tv (cable and DVD) and queen sleeper sofa that is actually comfortable to sleep on (we use the best mattress available so no one gets a sore back!). There is also a gas fireplace. Open to the living room is a dining area that has a large table with 14 seats. The table can expand, with folding chairs for additional guests. This floor features a full bathroom and two bedrooms. Each of the home's bedrooms is decorated to celebrate a major conference in college sports. One of the bedrooms on this floor is the 'Big 10,' which has a king bed. The other main floor bedroom is the 'Big 12,' which has a twin over queen bun...The space This spacious house is a single family home with 8 bedrooms. This floor features a full bathroom and two bedrooms. Each of the home's bedrooms is decorated to celebrate a major conference in college sports. One of the bedrooms on this floor is the 'Big 10,' which has a king bed. The other main floor bedroom is the 'Big 12,' which has a twin over queen bunk bed, along with a twin trundle beneath the bed. Make your way downstairs to the lower level of the home. Here, you will find four bedrooms. Two ('PAC 12' and 'Ivy League') have king beds, another (the 'ACC') has a twin over full bunk bed as well as a twin over twin bunk bed, and the fourth room ('Big East') has a twin over twin bunk bed. Another full bathroom is on this floor, along with the laundry facilities. One level above the main (entry) floor are two additional bedrooms. The first ('SEC') has a king bed, along with a crib and small seating area. The other bedroom upstairs ('Mountain West Conference') has a king bed as well. These two bedrooms share a nearby bathroom, as well as access to an outdoor deck with a gorgeous view of the valley. The backyard of the home is set up with a BBQ and seating for outdoor meals! An outdoor deck is present on each level of the home. The home is equipped with window air conditioner in the living room and the two bedrooms on the upper floor. Guest access Access to the home is provided without a cumbersome lock box or key exchange. Instead, you will choose a 4 digit code, and the electronic lock to the home will be programmed work your code for the duration of your stay. You will have access to the entire home. Street parking is plentiful and free. Interaction with guests Your hosts, Andy and Lynne, live nearby. Unless we are out of town, we are here to welcome you and help you with any of your needs during your stay. We are happy to offer you advice for sightseeing, restaurant recommendations, and even some budget saving tips and coupons. Guests will receive, in advance, our comprehensive homemade visitors' guide to Seattle, packed with our personal recommendations for dining, activities, and much more. Do you plan to cook during your stay? By special advanced arrangement (depending on availability), we will fulfill your grocery list and have your home stocked for your arrival. The neighborhood This 8 bedroom home is central to everything Montlake, Madison Valley, Capitol Hill and Central Seattle have to offer: great restaurants, parks, hiking, supermarkets, day spas, and more. Your hosts made this neighborhood their home when settling in Seattle 7 years ago... and haven't looked back since. We love walking the streets of this neighborhood, and we will gladly suggest fun walks depending on your interests. Stroll to the beach at Madison Park. Walk by multi-million dollar estates. Discover hidden neighborhood gems such as the farmhouse with horses in the yard and the home that doubles as an eclectic art studio and antique truck gallery. Take a walk through the fabled Arboretum to Lake Washington. Once you have worked up your appetite, enjoy the countless restaurants that Madison Valley ('Little Paris'), Madrona and Capitol Hill have to offer. In addition to French gems, try our favorite tapas restaurant or the best Japanese food east of Tokyo. Take your morning coffee in one of numerous bakeries. Or opt for Thai, pan-Asian, craft pizza, Tex-Mex or more. Our home provides easy access to Downtown (Pikes Place Market, Seattle Art Museum, Seattle Great Wheel), Seattle Center (Space Needle, Chihuly Glass Museum), South Lake Union (MOHAI), University of Washington, and Capitol Hill. All are accessible by car, bus (numerous bus lines a few blocks from home), or for the adventurous, by foot. If all of this touring (and eating) has you tired, pamper yourself with a visit to a day spa or nail salon. There are several of each within a few blocks of home, and we are happy to point you in the right direction. Getting around We live a few short blocks from bus lines that will take you to Seattle's numerous neighborhoods (Madison Park, Capitol Hill, Downtown, Belltown, Seattle Center, South Lake Union). Queen Anne, Ballard, and Fremont are more easily accessed by car. Street parking is plentiful and free.More
