3 blocks from downtown Torrey. Rustic with all wood and/or rock interior. Wood burning stove in addition to electric heat. Kitchenette has oven and 4 burner stove top, small refrigerator. Bathroom is small, but functional with custom tiled shower. Apartment is not wheelchair accessible. Property is across from a wooded lot, which brings in deer to our property. Our fruit orchard brings in a rich variety of birds as well. Fire pit in the back available for your use. Enjoy our backyard like it is your own. A great place to be based out of for all your southern Utah adventures.

We very much enjoy meeting our guests when we are in town, and we do our best to meet each guest at the apartment soon after you arrive. If our schedules work out, we'd love to sit in the yard or house with you and chat. However, we'll also be happy to give you whatever privacy you want. We do travel at times and then are not available on site. Feel free to knock on our door, call, or message us any time with questions. We are both nature enthusiasts and love sharing the beauty of the area with guests. Joy is a licensed Psychologist in Utah with a private practice in Torrey and may be available for a counseling session, an Opening to Nature and Yourself Session, a nature walk around Torrey, and/or a bird watching session for a fee.

About the neighbourhood
The apartment is set down in the valley of Torrey, between Boulder Mountain to the south and Thousand Lakes Mountain to the north. North views are of the redrock cliffs and knolls of Torrey, with Thousand Lakes Mountain above. Torrey's elevation is 6837 ft. above sea level. Torrey has a beautiful combination of redrock cliffs, knolls, Pinyon/Juniper forest, and sagebrush/rabbitbrush desert scrub. The area has been referred to as high desert and/or cold desert, due to it's elevation and cool temperatures fall through spring.

Our address is 81 North 200 East. From highway 24, which is the main street in Torrey, turn North onto 200 East (that is the only way you can turn there). Go 1 block and we are a 2 story log home on the left at the corner of 200 East and 100 North. Park in the driveway just left of the house and come around to the first door in the back.
