Holualoa, Island of Hawaii, Hawaii
Mauna Lea Manor is a 5 acre private estate over looking Kailua-Kona town, on the slopes of Hualalai volcano. On this property there are 4 rental cottages, the Manor House, and a dance/art studio. The grounds also include a fire pit. rope swing, fruit trees, and a bamboo grove.

Each cottage has an enclosed private bathroom, kitchenette, and patios for outdoor living.

We are at 2000 ft elevation so evenings are cool (as low as 68 degrees), making sleeping very comfortable (especially if you are not accustomed to the humidity of the tropics). It is very private and quiet on the property. Only 15 minutes to the beach or downtown Kona.

About the neighbourhood
Kailua-Kona is considered the 'resort' side of the island but Holualoa is a little artists' village on the mountain, tucked away in the Kona coffee country. Here, some of the most delicious coffee in the world is grown and celebrated. People come here to fish and scuba dive, hike and explore, create art, get away, get married, honeymoon, and enjoy family fun. There are white, black, and green sand beaches. Whales, dolphins, beautiful reef fish. Lots of fun exotic fruits and vegetables to try. Waterfall lagoons. Surfing, biking, running, and stand up paddle boarding are popular sports. Every year our town hosts an Ironman triathlon that brings people to our island from all over the world. The active volcano is a natural wonder that interests many, as well. Explore the H... more
