The second floor has three additional bedrooms with a queen sized bed, and two full sized beds. These bedrooms share a full bath with jetted tub. Post and beams, along with paneled wooden walls and ceilings provide a unique and inviting warmth and character to this home, illustrative of the Vermont lifestyle. This home is surrounded by all that makes a vacation in Stowe so memorable. Wake to the sound of the babbling brook behind the house and enjoy your morning coffee on the farmer's porch or along the country stone wall running parallel to the brook. In the spring and summer, relax by the private pond in front of the house, listening to the chorus of frogs and birds that make it their home. Ducks, herons, and other wildlife frequent the pond. Hike the myriad of local trails. A local kayak launch provides easy access to the Waterbury Reservoir. In the winter, ski or snowshoe out the front door into Mount Mansfield State Forest, or make the 15 minute drive to some of the best downhill skiing in the Northeast. You will welcome the beauty of nature that surrounds this country home in the woods. Only Stowe Vermont combines a classic 200-year-old village with Mt. Mansfield, Vermont's highest peak.
