3 Season Cabin - sleeping porch lake trails playground

Cabin -
3 Bedrooms , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 8
Mount Holly, Vermont
Ripley Hill Cabin, our largest cabin, is located on a hill overlooking the Farm Pond, one of two swimming spots. It has a wood stove and a field-stone fireplace to warm a chilly evening.
The cabin has two private bedrooms. One has a full bed and the second has a full bed and a twin bed. There is a sofa bed in the main room and a queen bed on a screened sleeping porch.
The kitchen has a gas-powered refrigerator and stove as well as a sink. Hot and cold running water is available inside the cabin. Ripley Hill Cabin has an indoor bathroom with a sink, toilet, tub and shower. There is also a (very clean) outhouse, for a fun, rustic experience.
Ripley Hill Cabin is a 5 minute walk from our playground and swimming pond, and a 20 minute walk to a pristine lake where guests swim and canoe. Trails cross the property and our resident caretakers...

Has been an amazing week . We have hiked, canoeing, kayaking, enjoyed card and family stories by lamp light. Entire family has had fun , including our dog Cosmo. Loved the cabin. Very comfortable with great weather.

About the neighbourhood
During your stay at Forest Echo, enjoy walking, hiking, bird-watching, canoeing, swimming, and playing on the swing set or just relaxing. There are hiking and walking trails right on the property. The Farm Pond is a great spot for a refreshing swim. Tiny Pond, really a large lake, offers a secluded spot for swimming and canoeing; we even have a resident heron.
The surrounding area is chock full of restaurants, antique stores, country stores, bakeries, farm stands, bike rentals, local theater and festivals, general shopping historic sites and scenic drives. The Crowley Cheese shop is nearby and worth a visit. Shaw's supermarket is located in Ludlow, 11 miles from Forest Echo.
The Appalachian and Long Trails are within a 45-minute drive.
