This is a fully furnished, brand new, 2 story, 3 bedroom 2 1/2 bath home right on the Bay. It is in the charming Las Joyas gated community. 7-8 can sleep comfortably. The well appointed open concept home features a full size kitchen with appliances (Refrigerator, Range, Microwave & dishwasher), and all necessary kitchen essentials. Granite countertops throughout. Guest Bedroom #3 features two twin sized beds and there is a deluxe twin sized blow up mattress, should one be required for an extra friend or family member. Home can comfortably accommodate 7 but 8 can stay with the deluxe twin sized blow-up mattress provided. Guest rooms #2 and #3 share a full bath in the upstairs hall. (Photos of bedroom 2 coming soon after new furnishings are in place). There is a stackable washer and dryer provided for your convenience on the second floor at the top of the stairs. The Las Joyas community offers wonderful family-friendly amenities available for your use while you stay with us. These include sparkling community pool steps from the front door, hot tub, and well equipped lounging area. Basketball hoop, children's playscape, and picnic benches overlooking the bay are also available for your enjoyment. Palapa stretching into the bay for bird or dolphin watching, launching your own kayak, canoe, or paddle board or night time stargazing! The bay is a popular spot for fishing. Two parking spaces are provided in the driveway of the home - 2nd parking space will accommodate a very small vehicle. Two additional parking spaces may be used; since the second space in front of the home is small- and the other extra space can include a truck with a trailered boat- both in the overflow parking. (Please note garage use is retained by the property owners.) The Las Joyas Community is just 4 miles from South Padre Island and the entertainment district! Walk to HEB Grocery store. Please, note no 'spring breakers' or any type of 'partying' is allowed in this community due to the strict HOA Rules. We love our home very much and love sharing it with you, our guests, and want to ensure the wholesome, tranquil, community and its full-time residents are respected at all times. Upon booking, you will receive a community gate access code and a front entry access code. Codes are to be used only the date of your check-in 3:00 pm or later in order to allow prior guests to depart & allow our housekeeper to do their job and get the home cleaned & ready for your arrival. We will be available to answer questions via phone call or text message before and during your stay -please don't hesitate to reach out. All ll bedrooms are upstairs - approximately 15 steps in total

This was a great place, overlooking the Laguna Madre. Very clean and well stocked. The only issue we had was the thermostat would reset itself at night and we got hot until someone got up to drop it again. Probably operator error. The owners are...More
