The fabulous mild maritime climate of Attica, the sandy beaches, the calmness of the Mediterranean landscape with its pine and palm trees and the cosmopolitan aura are the elements that characterize these suburbs of Athens. While the house is situated in a remote neighborhood there is a wide variety of entertainment and restaurant choices, ranging from Greek traditional tavernas to the most exotic ethnic ones. Almost all of these are by the sea, offering a relaxing atmosphere during the day and a romantic one at night. And for those who prefer a more busy and vibrant place there is always the nearby Glyfada town (5km away), known for its shopping and entertainment center. If on the other hand you prefer to spend time at home, the local super market is just 5 min. walk away. Less than a mile away there is the famous Vouliagmeni Lake (a natural brackish lake with healing properties), while the historical Athens city center, the stunning Cape Sounion archeological site and the airport are all 20-30 minutes drive away. The general area can cater to any culinary wish and a variety of sports installations (tennis and golf courts, gym, surfing and water-sports, etc) can keep you fit and busy.

There are buses (the bus stop is 10 min walk away on the main road Leoforos Varis) to the center of Athens, to Piraeus port or Sounion as well as local buses that go to Glyfada. The nearest Underground station is in Ellinikon (around 8Km away next to Glyfada) and you can get there by bus or by taxi. There is also the tram (to Pireus port or to the center of Athens) which terminates in Glyfada and again you can get there by bus or by taxi. There are also a couple of local 24 hour Radio-Taxi services.

El. Venizelos airport is approximately 20 Km away from Voula. There are two ways to get from the airport to Voula. The cheapest way is to get the bus (bus X96 departs right outside the terminals, costs 6€ and takes around 30 min). The name of the area, where the house is located, is called 'Pigadakia' and that's the name of the bus-stop too. From there it's about 10 min walk to get to the house. In case you use a taxi (costs around 15-20€ and takes approximately 15-20 min) you'll only need the actual address of the house, which is : Akovis 9 - Voula 16673
