Apartment 2 brm Balmain East w pool and views

Master bedroom king bed
1 of 27Master bedroom king bed
Overview
Condo/Apartment -
2 Bedrooms , 1 Bathroom , Sleeps 4
Balmain, New South Wales
Perfect for NYE fireworks this private ground floor apartment opens onto a huge pool and outdoor eating area. Sitting on the Balmain Peninsular overlooking Illoura reserve and Sydney Harbour this place is suitable for 2 adults + 2 kids or couples.

situated on the tip of the Balmain Peninsula, this is a quiet hideaway yet it's so close to the city by ferry (10mins) or bus.(20mins). Both the wharf and bus stop are literally at the end of the street.

The ground floor apartment is rustic and full of character. kid friendly but the king size bed in the master bedroom makes it a nice space for couples. We even have an internationally famous rock musician that chooses to live just up the road when he's in Town. You might see a few other Aussie TV celebs in the area too.

Interaction with guests
We are usually out of town when we rent our home out however we are only a phone call away. The apartment has its own private entrance so don't have to cross paths with anyone except perhaps when you put the bins out. you'll be pretty much left to your own devices. There is a tenant that lives in a separate dwelling upstairs who uses the pool about once a year. Otherwise you wont see anyone other than the pool man or the gardener who come once a fortnight.

My husband and I stayed in five rentals during our first trip to Australia, and this was, by far, the best. The host is flexible, responsive, and generous with amenities. It’s a short walk to the ferry, which we rode to the Sydney Opera House....More

About the neighbourhood
Balmain-known as the pub capital of Sydney with around 20 small pubs to service this special little village. Needless to say the main thing to do in Balmain is Eat, Drink and shop. Cafes, restaurants and boutiques are plenty. If you don't mind the hills take a stroll through the back streets and laneways among the cute cottages and terraces which Balmain is also known for.
Balmain was a workers area in the early 1900's, in fact it's the birth place of the Labour political party. It's also home to the first game of Rugby League in Australia. Home to Bryan Brown, AC/DC, Even one of the original 'Neighbours' stars teaches at one of the local primary schools. Balmain is a hidden Gem but it's not pretentious......not yet anyway.
