Berriew also has a butcher's shop, gift shop, general store, delicatessen and tearoom, church, school and the unique Andrew Logan Museum. Local attractions include Powis Castle and its famous baroque gardens. Lake Vyrnwy, Snowdonia National Park all lie within an hour's drive. The lovely sandy beaches of West Wales are just over an hour away.Hallway with ample space for hanging coats and storing shoes and muddy wellies! Dual aspect open plan kitchen/living and dining area, offering idyllic views and a place to relax with a cup of tea - or glass of wine! The room has two 2-seater sofas, a dining table for four and a well-fitted, fully equipped kitchen area. TV, WIFI, underfloor heating, new oven and hob, fridge. Upstairs there is a light airy double bedroom with a kingsize bed and a spacious en-suite shower room. A second double ensuite bedroom, also with a kingsize bed, is available as an alternative for guests who prefer a bath as opposed to a shower. If you require the room with an ensuite bathroom, please let us know when booking. Also, please note, our prices are based on 2 people sharing one bedroom. For individual guests requiring a double bedroom each, please contact us either beforehand or at the time of booking, as the second room must be pre-booked and will incur an additional charge. In addition, the cottage is always let on an exclusive basis, whether this is one bedroom or two. The situation would never arise where you would be sharing with strangers. There is a generous outside area, exclusively for guests, with a patio complete with wooden garden table and chairs for 'al fresco' dining. A barbecue is available. This part of the garden also houses a private lawned area and an enormous oak tree. A dedicated parking area is available in front of the cottage for 2 guest vehicles.More
