From Mallaig, there is a daily ferry on to the Small Isles, Isle of Skye and the Knoydart Peninsula. Kinneddar Lodges are an ideal base those looking to enjoy living on the West Coast, an area renowned for outdoor activities such as walking, fishing, sailing, cycling, climbing - and all in stunning scenery. The lodges are close to Traigh Golf Course, which is a 9-hole course on a line of grassy hills, presenting golfers with the traditional challenges of a classic seaside links course. The course is located less than 2 miles away. In addition, only a short drive away, are the famous beaches of Camasdarach beach and the Silver Sands of Morar - a location that has featured in many Scottish movies, including Bill Forsyth’s 1983 film “Local Hero”. Further amenities are available 8 miles to the North in the thriving port village of Mallaig, where visitors can soak up the atmosphere of a working fishing port and can take a boat to explore surrounding areas such as Loch Nevis and the Knoydart peninsula. Mallaig is also the final stop for the famous Jacobite Steam Train. There are a number of local amenities in both Arisaig and Mallaig, including banking facilities, restaurants, shops, garage and swimming pool. We believe the family dog is just that, a member of the family and therefore in Loch Morar Lodge we will accept up to two well behaved dog with responsible owners when pre-booked in Lodge Morar. Acceptance of your request to bring your dogs with you is on the strict understanding that you adhere to our rules relating to the acceptance of dogs on the premises. Please ask if you would like to see the full rules before booking and we can share them. Our lodges are presented in a clean condition for you and we wish to keep them that way. Our cleaning standards ensure that guests without dogs can confidently stay in our lodges without detecting doggie smells and doggie hairs! However, it would be almost impossible to maintain these high standards if our ‘house rules’ for dogs weren’t respected, so we appreciate your co-operation and respect for others staying after you. Thank you! Additional amenities: Full KitchenMore

Great little place. Tucked away, very quiet and amazing views of Skye, Rum and Eigg. Equipped with everything you would need. The only thing I would say is that there where lots of Crockery but not much Cutlery.
