About the neighbourhood
We are 30 minutes from the world famous Callanish Standing Stones and Carloway Broch and the new museum in Stornoway is well worth a (free) visit. If there is any activity in which you are particularly interested, I shall be happy to advise you on accessing it.
Getting around
It is perfectly possible to enjoy this property without a car as there is a regular bus service from the ferry terminal in Stornoway to North Dell in Ness. It'll take around 40 minutes. Once there, everything is within walking distance including moorland and coastal walks, several beaches, three shops which supply all daily needs, a post office and a small lounge bar.
