Eden lodge is a beautiful rural retreat with a picturesque garden, extensive countryside views and private sunken hot tub, ideal for those looking for a peaceful get away or romantic break (the lodge currently enjoys a 4 star platinum rating from Bluechip holidays) Inside you'll find modern open plan living, dining and kitchen area with wood burning stove set in a Ingle nook style fire place. The room is flooded with light from the floor to ceiling windows and patio doors, that lead out on to the glass covered private deck with sunken hot tub. Here you are in a perfect position to immerse yourself in the peace and quite while soaking up the countryside views whatever the weather. Eden lodge is perfectly situated as a jumping off point for much of the south west. An hours drive from the surfing beaches of Croyde and Wolacombe on the north coast, and less the 30 minute from either the south coast, Exmoor National Park or the picturesque city of Exeter, there really is something for everyone. The pretty local town of Wellington is a 10 minute drive away with many local independent retailers as well as a Waitrose supermarket. The Blackdown Hills are just a few minutes away with many pathways winding through the ancient woodland or cresting the hilltops to reveal spectacular views. An hours drive from the surfing beaches of Croyde and Wolacombe on the north coast, and less the 30 minute from either the south coast, Exmoor National Park or the picturesque city of Exeter, there really is something for everyone. Getting around
A car is advisable if wanting to explore, however If looking to stay put and enjoy the garden, hot tub, logfire and local walks. Then the train has proven a popular way to arrive. A short taxi ride and some pre ordered groceries remove the necessity of bringing your own transport.
