Tranquil Beachfront Home slps4 Spectacular Setting

Caravan/mobile home -
2 Bedrooms , 2 Bathrooms , Sleeps 4
Cloghane, Dingle Peninsula, County Kerry
A TRANQUIL HAVEN, close to The Wild Atlantic Way and The Dingle Way, This secluded, cosy home is situated in a wonderful private rural location down a single track 'boreen' on the beachfront, overlooked by Mount Brandon, with its own gated access leading onto a lovely sandy beach. Whatever the weather, this is a very comfortable base for up to 4 persons to either just relax and enjoy the peace and quiet, explore, or take part in the many popular sports available closeby, such as wind/kite/board surfing; walking; climbing, diving, plus sea and coarse fishing. A beautiful quiet setting but close to all amenities, and especially great for children and dogs.
This is a cosy, comfortable home from home, not a fashion statement. Used by families with children and dogs, and myself with my family, dog and wheelchair. Being close to the bea...

We really enjoyed the privacy and scenic setting of this bolthole on the Dingle Peninsula. Though you need a car, the driving isn't extensive, as you're a short drive away from all highlights... Brandon Point, Connor Pass, Dingle, Slea Head Drive, Annascaul. The beaches are...More

About the neighbourhood
The next door neighbour's house is also a holiday home and is about 20 metres away and not always occupied, except in peak season (July/August). The owner lives on the main road. Jackie, who looks after my property for me, (and also is a qualified sports and therapeutic masseuse plus organises walks, climbing parties, aerobics and Pilates classes), lives near the end of the boreen. It is a very quiet area, and the most traffic can be seen across the bay, travelling between Cloghane/Brandon villages and Tralee or Castlegregory. Very little crime here. Can be windy as it is right on the beach.

Car/bikes needed unless you're hiking.

How to get there
Airport: Killarney (Kerry): 68.0 km
Railway: Tralee: 36.0 km
Ferry: Rosslare: 313.0 km
Drom East is approx 60 mins from Kerry airport (near Killarney), and 45 mins away from Tralee. Take the Conor Pass/Annascaul road from Tralee. At Camp do not take the Annascaul road, but keep straight on toward Connor Pass. DO NOT turn off to Castlegregory, keep straight on, through Stradbally Village (Tomasins yellow pub on left), go 3.2 km then turn right to Cloghane (An Clochan) Connors Bar, Fermoyle beach and Brandon. Go 3.1km, over 2 narrow bridges, turn sharp right on a left hand bend (stone sign 'DROM' on grass verge). Go past Jackie's house (100m on left), then the home is 0.6 km down the narrow single track lane, on the right through wooden double gates facing the sea, just before white painted Sheehys Farmhouse..
