We won’t stay anywhere else. Attention to details made the difference. Loved the screened in porches. Close to everything. Next trip already booked for May.

About the neighbourhood
Referred to locally as 'The Edge of America' Folly is well known for it's eclectic mix of inhabitants and has long been attractive to the artist community. In addition to having exceptionally clean air, Folly is one of the best surfing areas on the east coast. There is much to do, or not do, depending on one's goals.

Historic Charleston peninsula is about 20 minutes via car. There are things to do year round in this area. Historic gardens to see, historical sites, Arts Festivals, marathons, kids activities, there is no end to it. One can choose to be as active, or laid back, as one desires. Bear in mind Folly Road traffic can get a bit congested during rush hour and nice weather weekends which is a contributing factor to our choice of Sunday turnover day.
Getting around
Car is pretty much necessary, unless someone is dropping you off and you plan to just hang out in the surf all week. ;)
