Please dont inquire about pets) Situated on one of Bucks County's most fabled properties in the historic hamlet of Philips Mill and just 1 & 1/2 miles from downtown New Hope, Pa. sits our private little English village property which we call 'The Gothic English Village'. Renowned Architect, Painter, Iron worker, and Wood worker, Morgan Colt built this extraordinary village at the turn of the century to be his residence. There are many great restaurants, art galleries, antiques stores and live music. We enjoyed our stay at the cottage. It was extremely cozy and very comfortable. The owner and her son were very gracious and told us the history of the village. It was quaint and charming and so interesting to hear about. We had a wonderful weekend enjoying the nearby shops and restaurants. Would love to visit again.

Loved, loved, loved our stay at the English cottage in New Hope. Thanks to Eleanor and Kurt for the perfect getaway. Steps from the tow path, set in beautiful gardens and a short drive from New Hope....the gothic cottage was a treat. It felt like we were in England in the 1800s!
