It has small private gardens with patio area, garden furniture and BBQ, as well as wifi throughout. The cottage features a woodburner, fully fitted kitchen with dishwasher and microwave, and full laundry facilities in the courtyard. There is an outdoor play area with trampoline and swings and indoor games room with pool and table-tennis tables. Relax and enjoy roaming the grounds to find a peaceful perch to enjoy the views by our sunken garden or in the orchard and woodland areas. You will find secluded areas to enjoy a sundowner or romantic picnic.A cream tea awaits you on your arrival and you are sure of a warm welcome from Mike - a vet of 38 years and his wife Kay (who live on site in the farmhouse) along with their much loved pets - Ruby the Labrador,the cats Diamond and Jubilee, their Lipizzaner pony called Tempo not forgetting the pygmy goats Pumba and Hatty and the sheep Bob and Marley. I’ve stayed at Lower Trengdale twice now, this time in Dill but last time in Thyme. Both stays were absolutely lovely. Each cottage was cosy, clean and homely. The woodburner was set up ready to go and it heated the cottage up in no time....More

Lovely welcoming friendly hosts Mike and Kay our 3rd visit. Lots of wildlife and plenty to see and do in and around views from cottage over surrounding countryside beautiful. Cottage itself warm and cosy even in poor weather planning our next visit

Thank you for your comments.The Downstairs is not actually damp.In order to preserve one original window feature in the double room of the Cottage it was single glazed giving rise to condensation.This is similar to a lot of stone barn conversions.
