We were so thankful to get our first real vacation with our kids (and even the dog) at the Cliffhouse for four nights. Our kids thoroughly enjoyed claiming their loft space when we relaxed in between hikes and kayaking. We loved the attention to detail...More

Loved the sounds of nature. Lived in the forest for a decade and miss the "quiet" and sounds of nature. Had a wonderful time and will be back

About the neighbourhood
Our cabin in situated on private property on about 80 acres and situated in the national forest. It is not uncommon to see wildlife such as deer, rabbits, squirrels, beautiful birds and the occasional black bear. The forest is great for long hikes, mountain biking and ATVing when in season. The hike to the lake is exciting and beautiful. If you are interested in relaxing at the cabin, the deck is great for lounging and taking in the lake views.
Getting around
An SUV is necessary for getting around the forest but not 4 wheel drive. If you enjoy the water then bring a boat or jet skis and we can help you arrange parking in town or at the marina.
