Once you drive into the double gates you are taken into a peaceful haven. The room is in a Federation House that features the L shape veranda. The bedroom has a double half poster with wardrobe and dresser. The guests have their own bathroom small kitchenette equipped with microwave,hot plates and full size refrigerator. There is also a private sitting room. On a sunny day sitting on the veranda having a drink or reading is just magic. The garden has established trees and over 100 rose bushes. There are paths meandering through the property. Light breakfast is included. In winter sit by a roaring log fire on leather chairs sipping red wine and enjoying the local cheeses. Charming federation style accomodation

We were very much welcomed by our lovely hosts, Helen & Ian. Apart from our own room of course, we also had our own sitting room, kitchen & bathroom. It's a magnificent house!!

About the neighbourhood
Beautiful pristine white beaches without the crowds. Great for fishing, hiking and visiting antique shops and small towns. We are just over an hours drive to Cradle Mountain, Stanley and the nut and Arthur river and the Tarkine are all able to be done in a days drive.
Getting around
The best way to see around the north west coast is by car. Devonport it's self is a lovely town to walk around. There are walking tracks on both sides of the river. There is a small ferry available so you can catch 'a ferry across the Mersey' if you want something different.
