Dragonfly is a delightfully modern cottage resting within a residential courtyard of properties near the Somerset town of Bridgwater. It boasts three bedrooms; a double, a king-size double with an en-suite bathroom and a twin room, sleeping six guests altogether. There is also a ground floor cloakroom, a family bathroom, kitchen/diner and a sitting room with an electric fire. To the exterior is a private patio area with a picnic bench as well as shared access to the lawned area and down to the lake. There is off-road parking for 1 car. Lose yourself in the glory of nature, take a ride on a steam train, visit a traditional farmers’ market or explore your mystical side at Glastonbury. Town: The town of Bridgwater is situated close to the Mendip Hills in the North and the Quantocks to the West, the town has several buildings of historical interest, a selection of restaurants and pubs and is notable for the annual Bridgwater Illuminated Carnival in November. Cheddar is only a few miles away as is Glastonbury, home of King Arthur and pop festivals. The wetland areas surrounding Bridgwater are internationally renowned for wintering wildfowl and wading birds and support numerous species of breeding birds. Nearby Shapwick Heath is an excellent example of a wetland nature reserve well worth a visit, as is the Steart Marshes on the Bridgwater Bay National Nature Reserve.
