A short stroll will also bring you to the centre of Seahouses where its many amenities are located,including a fish and chip shop,gift shop,cafe,restaurant and pub. When you're not admiring it from the coastal path above,step down onto the sandy expanse of beach below for a dog walk in the dunes,to fly the kite in the sea breeze or build a sand castle near the waves. From the harbour,catch one of the regular boat trips leaving for the Farne Islands to spot their resident seal and puffin colonies or cross the causeway to Holy Island and visit Lindisfarne Castle and Priory.
