The house has large rooms ,and the lounge, diner/kitchen and ensuite bedroom all have windows overlooking the village green. The family bedroom and the double bedroom are on the second floor both having pitched and beamed ceilings. The twin bedroom is on the first floor again overlooking the village green. There is a duckers bed in here which enables a variation so that up to 3 children could sleep in the same room. This is a large room with a 3 seater settee as well as the beds so can double up as a play room if the adults want a break. The house has a toilet on each floor (3) the ground floor toilet is just outside the lounge. The lounge on the ground floor is a beautiful room with the origional stone wall and a multi burner as the main feature in the room. This makes winter bookings and Christmas time a very cosy experience. This room also looks out onto the ancient church and the village green. Next door is the large kitchen diner which is well equipped and spacious. It provides a great facility for large groups to eat together and socialise in the evening. Many families who have stayed also enjoy a games evening on the village green which is right outside the front door. We have a bench directly outside so on nice summer evenings a glass of wine can be enjoyed whilst watching the children play. It's a great house for large families or 2 families travelling together.More
