I live above the house, so I am always on hand if you need me or I can offer any advice on places to eat, things to do during your stay in Margate. Other than that, I will leave you to enjoy your stay. Also with sufficient notice I am happy to prepare the flat for your arrival such as light the log fire or put the hammock up etc... as well as booking restaurants and event tickets. Location for our week away was brilliant, the house is walking distance to the beach and shops. Comfortable beds, lovely bathroom and the log fire kept us nice and toasty on the cold nights :-) We will definitely be back again soon!

The apartment is perfectly located to explore what Margate has to offer. Just a short walk to Margate's old town and beach, where you will find an array of art galleries, furniture shops, bars and restaurants.
The famous Shell Grotto is round the corner (1 minute walk away), as well as Scott's Furniture Mart - the biggest antique/furniture/junk (de-luxe) shop in Kent!
The immediate neighbour hood is safe and quiet. Morrison's & Aldi are a few minutes walk away, as well as the Cliftonville area of Margate.

You can literally walk anywhere within a few minutes from the flat, however there are several good local taxi firms nearby and lots of buses to take you further afield.

The property is a 15 minute walk from Margate Train Station or 5 minutes (£4) in a taxi.
The flat naturally comes with clean bedsheets, towels, loo roll and other essential items for you to enjoy your stay.
