Our beautiful and spacious home from home is a large two bedroom garden apartment in an Arts & Craft period building with the beach and sea at the end of the road.

We are in the Avenues of Cliftonville, with the famous Tom Thumb Theatre as your neighbour. You will be a three minute drive from the sandy beach known as Margate Main Sands, the Turner Contemporary and Margate Old Town. Alternatively you can take a leisurely fifteen minute walk, or cycle along the picturesque cliff top. A taxi will cost you just £3.40.

The apartment has all mod cons, and many period features such as high ceilings yet retains it's period charm and warmth. You can see the sea from both bedrooms. A home away from home with the added bonus of having a beach at the end of the road.

About the neighbourhood
We are in Cliftonville, a residential area of Margate, a pleasant seafront walk from Margate old town, Dreamland & the Turner Contemporary. The seafront, bandstand & bowling green are just a few seconds walk away. Plenty of shops again just a short walk away, including a bank, post office, chemist, butcher, baker & hairdressers. Sea views, cliff top walks and cycling paths. My husband and I are happy to make local recommendations for our guests!

There are frequent trains between London Victoria and Charing Cross, and Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate. Journey times are approximately 1 hour 50 minutes (Victoria) and 2 hours (Charing Cross).

From London Gatwick Airport it is approximately 1 hour 40 minutes drive to Margate, Broadstairs and Ramsgate, whilst Heathrow Airport is approximately a 2 hours drive away.
