The Grange is in the picturesque village of Saltwood just off the M20; 5 min drive from Hythe (coast) & the Channel Tunnel; and 20 mins from the port of Dover. Set in lovely private grounds The Annex is a self-contained fully-equipped 2 bedroom flat. The nightly price shown is for 4 guests using two bedrooms, if you would like to book for 2 or less guests using only one bedroom I can offer a discounted price of £85 per night. To take advantage of this please book and pay the deposit and then I will send you a revised quote.

The Space
The Annex is attached to The Grange - a grand old house set in picturesque grounds and historically thought to be the dower house to Saltwood Castle which is 500 yards down the road.

Beautiful accommodation in a quiet village, near all you could need in Hythe and a stones throw from Dumchurch. Hosts were welcoming and friendly and we are already planning our next break here so warm was the welcome & perfect the accommodation to our needs.

Enjoyed our short stay. A charming older style property which was nice and clean. Was a nice surprise to find a loaf of bread, a selection of milks, butter and some cereals. Very pleasant host in a good location

Getting around

From Saltwood village buses go to Hythe-Folkestone-Dover; Canterbury; and Ashford.
Local Taxis are available and usually arrive within 10 minutes of being booked.
Sandling station is 20 minutes walk and has regular links to Ashford-London, and Folkestone-Dover-Ramsgate. The high-speed rail link can be picked up in Ashford and from there it's 35 minutes to London St Pancras. The Eurostar can also be accessed from here with links to Paris/Bruge etc.
This location is close to the Channel Tunnel (5 miles) and Dover ferry port (14 miles) making it a perfect stop for those who wish to catch an early shuttle or ferry to France, or if returning late - an overnight stop before travelling onwards.

By car:
We are just off junction 11 on the M20, take the exit for Hythe/Newington
(A20). Immediately turn left onto the A20 signposted ‘Newington/Lyminge/Saltwood’. After 0.5 miles take the first turn on the right (signposted Saltwood) onto Sandling Road. After about 1.3 miles you come to The Green - take the road on the left of The Green.
Continue straight onto Grange Rd (167 ft) - the Village Hall is on the left at the top of Grange Road. Grange House is halfway down the road on the right - we are the large house set back from the road with a gravel drive, opposite some fields.

By train:
Take the highspeed link from London St Pancras to Ashford International and then pick up a connecting train to Sandling, or a slow train from Charing X
