Nice Apartment
Booking was easy, location was good, close to the sea and the shops, and the apartment was nicely decorated and equipped. However shortly before our arrival date the company changed our entry time to 7pm saying they had to deep clean the property due to COVID. When we got in that evening, after losing the first day of the booking, the kettle was stained with coffee and tea splash marks, food and crumbs were stuck to the kettle handle, finger and food stains on the cooker knobs, and dry red stains on top of the rim of the toilet bowl, we had to do our own anti bac clean before we unpacked. Apart from the late 7pm entry time, and the mess we had to clean up, it was a nice stay in a nice apartment.

Fantastic little apartment
Originally booked for 4 adults and a dog (which would have been adequate if a bit of a squeeze) my husband, me and the dog arrived to a welcome bag of goodies from the agency, heating on (coldest day of autumn so far!) and everything ready for our stay. Having rented dog friendly properties previously we are used to them being a little rough around the edges but this apartment was absolutely tip top. Tucked away from the hustle and bustle, but close enough to the sea, the shops and a pub on the corner, we loved it. Southwold Lighthouse was just across the road, which was lovely at night, watching the lights span out across the sky. Didn’t even mind the daily “parking roulette” after we had been out travelling. Would thoughroughly recommend this property whether you have a dog or not. So comfortable and well appointed with an enormous super king bed! Shower over bath excellent, spacious living room, small but perfectly formed kitchen. Could not fault it.
