The impressive East Wing self-catering apartment is situated in the oldest 16th century part of Swafield Hall, with a fabulous view over the fields to St Botholph Church in Trunch. It sleeps 2 and contains a 20 sq. m bedroom, kingsize bed, original exposed oak beams, compact lounge zone, flat screen TV on a bracket (to watch TV in bed or from the lounge zone) and an antique chandelier.
There is a fully equipped private galley style kitchen with a stylish breakfast bar.
The large (18 sq. m) luxurious bathroom is in Victorian style, with a free standing bath near the south facing window, rocking chair and an antique chandelier. You can enjoy the stunning view to the parterre and main lawn while taking a bath and afterwards resting in the antique rocking chair having a cocktail mixed at the bar desk.

Lovely room, had everything we needed. Bath was amazing. Tim and Boris were brilliant, the map they provided us with was a massive help getting around. Will be staying again next time we head down to Norfolk. Highly recommend.

Swafield Hall is ideally located in the middle of the line between two main tourist attractions in Norfolk: Cromer and the Broads (8 miles each side). The estate is close to the coastal resort of Mundesley, with its wonderful large and flat sandy beach (2.8 miles). Mundesley looks as if it’s been preserved in time, which gives it a unique traditional charm. On the Norfolk Broads, the UK’s largest and finest wetland landscape (8 miles), you can enjoy renting a boat, sailing, canoeing, kayaking, windsurfing, walking, fishing and cycling.
The Knapton Cutting Nature and Butterfly Reserve is just 5 minutes walk from Swafield Hall. It is situated along the picturesque old railway track, which is now a public walkway (a part of the Paston Way).
