The Barn Old Amersham Buckinghamshire - Secluded Private Centre of Old Town

Cottage -
2 Bedrooms , 2 Bathrooms , Sleeps 9
Amersham, Buckinghamshire, England
Luxury Self Contained Accommodation in the centre of Old Amersham Buckinghamshire, sleeps up to 9

Delightful peaceful and secluded 16th century converted barn in the heart of Old Amersham hidden away to the rear of the Crown Hotel and within 100 yards of the centre of the Old Town with its own private parking.

Private, secluded and extremely comfortable with private courtyard garden and own entrance - sit in kitchen and your own Private Parking Space adjacent to the courtyard garden.

Note whilst we can do up to 7 guests in The Barn - it would be a bit of a squeeze - it would require the sofa bed to be used and the put me up bed as well - its fine for children or one family with close friends but 7 adults might be a stretch. It has 2 bedrooms, one with a king size bed and the other with twin beds. A sofa bed is located in the sitting r...

About the neighbourhood
Amersham - probably more than any other similar small town in England , preserves in the streets of the Old Town the same general appearance that it displayed during the 17th and 18th centuries.

The village of Old Amersham has an outstanding array of quality restaurants, pubs and shops. London is a mere 35 minutes by main line airconditioned train. The station is a brief walk up the hill or a taxi will cost less than £5.

The railway station is twelve minutes walk and there are regular trains to central London (journey time 30 minutes). Oxford is a mere 40 minutes by car and Windsor Castle home of the Queen, is just 30 minutes away. Shakespeare's birthplace, Stratford-upon-Avon is 1 hour 20 minute drive.

Other attractions within easy reach are all the facilities of central London:...
