This location was absolutely lovely. The property was very well maintained as well as the inside. The hosts were wonderful to deal with as well. The location is far enough from the city that it is very peaceful, but close enough that it’s convenient to get to with a car. We would definitely come back!

This was a great property. It is hidden away but located equally between Cavendish and North Rustico. The property was wonderful and clearly cared for. The owner, Barb, is a lovely lady! I can see why this property is highly recommended. We plan on comming back next year.

If you're looking for a secluded location, this is it. We had all the privacy we could ask for. It's on a quiet, unpaved road, with no neighbors in sight. It truly felt like a home and not just another rental property. Everything about it was comfortable. We would love to stay here again.

This was an ideal property for families. The yard was amazing for both the kids and dog. As it sits off the main road, it is extremely safe for the children and so peaceful and quiet. We’ve been coming to the island as a family every year for the last several years and I have to say this was the most well equipped home we have rented as far as the kitchen is concerned. As a family of 8, having only one bathroom was a bit of a juggling act, It would be perfect if there was an additional half bath. Otherwise, I would recommend this country charmer to all. Great central location for all your island adventures!

We've stayed here probably 5 or 6 times over the past 10 years. It is very quiet and tranquil, and has all the amenities you would need (including hair dryer, washer, and a keurig). Conveniently close to Cavendish and North Rustico and a park pass included to go enjoy the beach. Beautiful deck to sit and enjoy a sunset or BBQ.

My husband and I had a great time at Barb's cottag...
My husband and I had a great time at Barb's cottage, nestled in between farms and fields south of Cavendish. Our son enjoyed crawling in the grass, and our dog loved pretending he was a farm dog. The cottage was clean, and had everything we needed. Barb was easy to reach for any questions that came up. We can't wait to return to this quiet and secluded spot next year!

We had a nice relaxing getaway at this Lovely private cottage close to many amenities! The view was spectacular and walks on the private property couldn’t have been better.
Surrounded by farm land, gorgeous trails and the perfect spot for an evening fire… we really couldn’t ask for more!
Barb And Dales took care to make sure the cottage was loaded with everything you need for a home away from home vacation spot. Having the washer and dryer was an added bonus.
Cute, clean and lovely cottage, owners are super friendly… this home made for a perfect stay for our time on the island.

Cottage is in a secluded area but very close to the tourist areas of Cavendish & North Rustico. The hosts leave a park pass for you to use for easy, free access to Cavendish beach. Cottage is very roomy.
3 bedrooms with a big living room, kitchen/dining room and laundry area. Plenty of seats for everyone! Everything was clean and in working order when we arrived. Kitchen was well stocked with everything you'd need. Grill on the spacious deck. Hosts were very friendly and accommodating :) Will hopefully be able to visit again!!

The views were amazing, the property was quiet and so much room to fly our kites, play lawn games, and for my golden Mosley to run around all day long. Close to Cavendish and lots of activities. The hosts were so kind and courteous. We will be back. =)
