“Moon River, wider than a mile. I’m crossing you in style”. Residing at a 5-star location, this historic home was freshly designed by a professional interior designer. The stunning emerald tiles in each bathroom reflect the colour of the river running outside. While enjoying a warm bath in a freestanding bathtub in the bedroom, you’ll be amazed by the bright moon above the peaceful river outside the window. There’s a huge gazebo (500 sqft) located in the centre of the half acre backyard, where you can have dinner and watch a movie (outdoor projector) with your family and friends. There are two BBQs, with bar tables and a picnic table in the BBQ area which make outdoor cooking more enjoyable. The space: “Moon River” is a 5-star location, it has all the convenience of downtown living: walking distance to numerous restaurants, supermarkets, tennis courts, soccer fields, military museum, movie theatre, chocolate factory, bakery and many shops. Yet it’s on a quiet street along the river, and a few minutes away from the Provincial Parks and wilderness. Ranney Gorge Suspension Bridge is the longest suspension bridge in Ontario. The beauty of Healey Falls is ever-changing with each season and even every day. Many trails in Ferris Provincial Park are called hikers’ heaven. Rent a local pontoon boat or bring your own kayak, canoe or a paddle board flowing down the river, and it’s a moment of your life that you will never forget. Guest access: The entire home is accessible for our valuable guests. Including: the whole building, the front yard and the back yard. Excluding: the garden shed. The 10k massage chair: “to avoid fights, our family members had to line up for a turn to try the massage chair”. 2. The E-piano: “what a relief to know that my daughter can still practice during the vacation.” “I played quite a few tunes after dinner to entertain my friends. The high quality sounds created great atmosphere.” 3. Two brand-new kitchens: “it worked perfectly since we had two families sharing the house and we could both cook at the same time in the separate kitchens”. 4. The “Moon River” theme: “my husband and I have been to many vacation homes in the past and no one has set such a magnificent theme throughout the entire house. It’s every where yet very subtle. Memorable!” 5. Freestanding bathtubs: “a bathtub in the bedroom is a dream come true. Looking at the river while sitting in the bathtub is divine.” 6. The antique vinyl record players: “great collection of the records. ‘Moon River’ was the first record we played of course.” 7. The double shower heads: “first time my wife and I had shower together and we’ve married for over 10 years!” 8. The gardens: “lavenders around the big gazebo in the backyard (are) still blooming in October. Surprisingly. The twinkling lights added so much joy”. 9. The crib and other kid friendly features: “the portable crib was great and I’ll definitely get one for my home.” 10. The bathroom library: “every space in this house was so meticulously designed especially the back bathroom. The shower head is gigantic. It’s like raining in the rainforest. I even found my favourite book in the bathroom library. ”. 11. The gazebo: “Never seen a family owned gazebo this big. It held over 20 people for my daughter’s wedding reception. The PPT of my daughter’s photos on the big screen in the gazebo surely a memorable touching moment!” 12. The BBQ and Bar Area: “two BBQs help cooking faster for a large group of people. The drinks at the bar area also help cooking more enjoyable.”
