Peaceful, relaxing retreat
We loved our hideaway house on the farm. Gorgeous views. Sat outside on the deck watching fireflies and listening to the bugs and frogs in the evenings. Nice, comfortable home. Location is close to downtown Weaverville. Blue Mountain Pizza is worth the wait..loved the food and atmosphere.

Do yourself a favor and stay here
Just finished a monthlong stay at Best View Hideaway with my husband and our two dogs. We could not have had a better time. The house was so cozy. The view was amazing. The animals were such a joy to see every day. We loved the deck and hot tub. Dianne, the owner, was go gracious and welcoming. We felt like we had made a new friend by the time we left. It was super close to downtown Weaverville, and a quick 10 minutes into Asheville. If you are looking for an alternative to the hotel experience, do yourself a favor and check out the Best View Hideaway. You won't be sorry.

Lovely house with a gorgeous view.
I stayed at Best View Hideaway with two of my BFFs. Plenty of room for all of us. The king sized bed is HUGE, it was as if I wasn't sharing a bed. The house is clean, tastefully decorated (not cheesy vacation cottage decorated).
Well stocked kitchen equipment wise. I've been to some vacation rentals where you could cook an entire meal without going to the grocery. The fridge and cupboards were bare other than, a jar of mustard, salt, pepper, olive oil...and 4 bags of coffee. I kind of liked it this way because I didn't have to guess if something was safe to use.
The view is gorgeous. The farm is fun to walk around. The horses are friendly and the donkeys are adorable. The barn is fun to walk around in.
Dianne is super nice and brought fresh eggs as soon as I arrived. My friend who eats vegan 98% of the time ate eggs. That's how special they were.
The hot tub is huge and good for star watching.
Huge back deck. The three of us grrls grilled out with my brother and his gal. Nice to be able to visit friends and family at the same time.
I love this place.
