To the right a linen-covered corner sofa stretches languidly across the room. Should you want a relaxed night in, there's a TV and DVD player. We provide board games, a selection of books and wide range of DVD's for those rainy days! The light and airy open plan living area has relaxed, comfortable seating for four and is towards the front of the apartment, looking out to the stream and bridge in the centre of Croyde. EATING and COOKING The lovely contemporary white gloss kitchen with double aspect windows, overlooking the stream, is compact and well equipped and leads off the sitting room. There's a Neff slide and hide cooker just like 'The Great British Bake Off' , a built-in fridge for storing all the local produce found in at local farmers markets and freezer for those so-important ice cubes, a dishwasher and a Nespresso machine too for that essential morning coffee ....everything to make your holiday feel special. The dining table, which comfortably seats four is just off the kitchen, overlooking the centre of the village, where you can sit and enjoy watching the world go by. SLEEPING The Attic has two gorgeous bedrooms with luxurious beds which are luxuriously swathed in superior down duvets and ultra soft linens. The master bedroom has a scrumptious king size bed , the second bedroom is cosy and snug with a lovely double bed. BATHING The bathroom has a deep tub with hand-held shower, perfect for melting away your troubles in a tub full of bubbles, there is also a walk-in shower perfect for washing sandy toes after a day at the beach. RELAXATION Step outside the front door of your luxury holiday apartment and take a mosey around the characterful seaside village of Croyde take only a 10 minute walk along the ‘old donkey track' to Croyde Beach or if you want to venture further take the coastal path to Baggy Point, there's no need to drive. OUTSIDE We have a porch area, with a wellie/boot store, an outside shower, wetsuit washing and hanging area. There is a secure outside storage cupboard for all your beach stuff and pushchair if you have one! Whilst The Attic doesn't have a garden, there's a lovely village green just across the road with seating and you can always enjoy a cool drink over at Blue Groove just two seconds away, or at The Stores, just next door.More

About the neighbourhood
There are so many things to do in and around Croyde but probably surfing is the activity Croyde is best known for. Anyone can have a go, if you would like surf lessons – we know the best instructors – solo or in a group. Example cost, £40 for a half day (2 hours) session including board and wetsuit. Coasteering – you'll be equipped with a wetsuit, buoyancy aid and helmet before setting off round the cost with an instructor, leaping - lemming-like - off the cliffs … as low or as high as you like! Cost at £40-£50 per person depending on group size and season. Fishing - boats go out from Ilfracombe approx 8 miles away weather permitting. Horse riding - Croyde has a riding stables.
Getting around
The local bus runs to and from Barnstaple regularly during the summer season. There are plenty of taxi companies locally too. The best way to explore this Area Of Natural Beauty is on foot with coastal paths, to Saunton or Baggy Point, Putsborough and beyond, right on your doorstep! Cycle hire in Braunton.
