I am very committed to being available at any time for guests from the moment they inquire about our home and throughout their visit. I have people in place who are my 'boots on the ground' should any needs arise during a guest's stay. Once a guest books, I have an information sheet for them that is intended to familiarize them with the house and area as much as possible before their arrival. There are multiple contacts to ensure timely responsiveness. I am available not just for any 'problems' that might arise. I love pointing guests to areas of interest in Highlands. I will talk as much or little about our home and the area.

The kitchen, laundry, and bathrooms are kept stocked with cleaning supplies, paper products, non-perishables, etc. Our policy is to feel free to use anything there, but to not deplete an item without replacing it. For example: some staples are kept in the kitchen---flour, sugar, coffee, tea, spices, etc. They are there to be used, just make sure there is something there for the next person. Laundry products, paper towels, and toilet paper---same policy.

Private setting, yet just 1/4 mile from the town of Highlands, NC. Very convenient to Old Edwards Inn and Spa, dining, shopping whether walking or driving.
How to get there
Airport: Hartsfield-Jackson Atlanta International: 210.0 km
Our home is a five minute walk (1/4 mile) from town and located right up the street from Harris Lake. Charlotte, Asheville, Atlanta are the major airports best suited for flying to area.

There is not much, if anything, in the way of public transportation in Highlands. That is why the location of our home is ideal......you can walk into town quite easily. I even make it a point every time I am in town to do a small grocery run on foot just because I can!
