Located less than 10 mins. from the fun and friendly village of New Paltz and in the heart of the amazing Hudson Valley full of activities, farms, restaurants and bars. The house is great for couples, solo adventurers and business travelers. THE SPACE Our charming farmhouse is set on approximately one acre. The back of the house is a parking lot and behind that the property is forest, with many beautiful old trees around. There has been several exciting wildlife sightings, like foxes, bald eagles, turtles and more! The house is spacious, clean and welcoming. It is never a full time residence so it is not cluttered with daily living items. When you walk into the house you enter the well-stocked, eat-in kitchen (which guests have complete but shared access to). Up the stairs and to the right you will find a beautifully and thoughtfully prepared master bedroom with natural light, views of gorgeous trees and amenities including a Sealy Posturpedic King Size bed, high quality bedding, tv with streaming capabilities (BYOL--bring your own login-info), empty dresser and closets for your use. Attached to the bedroom is the master bathroom that will be private to our guests. Both the bedroom and bathroom is private and lockable for the duration of your visit. GUEST ACCESS The house is accessed from the back door where the spacious parking area is located. Our property wears several hats, it has several office spaces, storage closets and one private bedroom. The common areas downstairs are accessible to our guests and shared, however, weekends are mostly quiet and you will usually have most of the house to yourself. Here is the detailed breakdown of what our guests will have access to: Complete private access: •Upstairs, private master bedroom with king size bed (with lockable door) •En suite master bathroom (with lockable door) Shared access downstairs common areas include: •well-stocked, eat-in kitchen •living room •dining room •powder room Guess will NOT have access to: •Basement/laundry •Locked rooms and closets •Garage/outbuildings Other things to note It is a shared house. Some of the rooms will be occupied Monday through Friday, mostly during regular business hours, although sometimes work may extend later. On Saturday and Sunday one of the rooms may be used during reasonable 'weekend' business hours, with respect of guests' privacy. Also, during the spring, summer and fall seasons there will be increased activity in the parking lot from 7:45am-8:15am and then again at the end of the business day. For the comfort of all of our guests we ask that you please leave your pets at home when staying at our place. However, our family recently adopted an adorable young Australian Labradoodle. She occasionally visits the house during the work day, but she never sleeps over at the house and never enters the TripAdvisor private spaces. The neighborhood The house is situated in a mixed use area, which makes for many great conveniences. Very close by there is a mini-market with a deli, a liquor store, a diner, a gas station and a great Mexican Restaurant. Down the road there's some classic Hudson Valley farmland with an orchard that has a great local farm store, has hard cider tastings and has gourmet wood fired pizzas overlooking the awesome orchard landscape during the warmer months. The house is backed by forest and the yard has several beautiful old trees. A few things to note about the nearest neighboring properties. Since the area is mixed use, there are residential homes, as well as a small water treatment facility, a garden nursery and a backyard firewood business next door. We have rarely experienced issues relating to these neighboring properties. It's just kind of a unique neighborhood. Please reach out to us if you have any questions. Please contact us for availability and with any other questions. Hope to see you soon!More

Really enjoyed the quiet and quaintness of the historic house along with the closeness to all kinds of sites including New Paltz. Liz and Matt were very attentive and always a call away if needed.
