About the neighbourhood
The Hudson Valley is the East Coast equivalent of the West's Napa Valley, though less appreciated. Fabulous food, vistas, museums, historic sights and more are only minutes away from the house's central location. A guide to personally curated restaurants and sites will be provided to guests prior to check in.
Getting around
Some people never leave the resort-like private compound. Others use a car service for the occasional forays to some of the areas great venues. We recommend having a car, which can be rented locally. Enterprise will pick you up at the train station if needed.

Railway: Poughkeepsie: 15.0 km
Easy access by car from I-87, New Paltz exit 18, the Taconic Parkway - about 1:40 minutes from Manhattan. Amtrak (1:20 from Penn Station) and MetroNorth (1:50 minutes from Grand Central) provide train service - a nice ride up the Hudson River to Poughkeepsie. A taxi to the house is about $15, plus toll across the beautiful Mid-Hudson / FDR Bridge. Nearby Dutchess County airport is suitable for small private aircraft with Stewart Airport providing commercial service about 17 miles south of the house. Subject to your pilot's prior inspection, assumption of responsibility and permission from the Host, a small helicopter may land on the property.
