This cottage newly renovated to the highest standards and tastefully decorated throughout is an ideal base to explore this wonderful part of Scotland. This is a fantastic location for a holiday, with award winning sandy beaches, world class golf courses, full range of water sports, beautiful coastal walks and many other holiday activities close by. There are numerous pubs and eating places in the area ranging from the "famous chippie" to award winning seafood restaurants. The historic town of St Andrews is only 15 minutes away. This part of Scotland is also ideal for exploring further afield. It is only an hours drive to Edinburgh, Stirling and Perth. The area is rich in historical interest with several National trust properties in the vicinity including Falkland Palace Kellie castle and the Hill of Tarvit. From the front door, a small staircase leads to the first floor and the 2 bedrooms. There is a kingsize double with luxury ensuite shower. There is a large twin room with fantastic walk in shower opposite. Both bedrooms have great sea views. This level also has a small utility room From this first floor, another oak staircase leads up to the stunning open plan kitchen/dinning and living area with incredible 180 degree sea views The kitchen is fully equipped and has an integrated fridge, built in oven, ceramic hob and dishwater.The living area has a stunning feature wood burning stove and solid oak flooring ( throughout the whole cottage) just adds to the character and charm of this unique holiday property. This spectacular room which runs the whole length of the cottage has some of the best views in the area. There are 2 sets of French doors with "Juliet Balconies" providing unrivalled floor to ceiling vistas across the Firth of Forth to Berwick law, Bass Rock, Isle of May and along the coast to Crail. Truly wonderful. From the first floor hallway another oak staircase leads down to a large utility and back door. The cottage also benefits from its own private sitting out area ( Sitooterie) which has the same fantastic sea views. The Sitooterie is accessed via the courtyard at the rear of the cottage. The property also has guaranteed parking which is very unusual for seafront cottages in the picturesque East Neuk fishing villages.
